The Other World is a story where you play as an adventurer named John, who wakes up in an unfamiliar forest, without memories of how or why he is there. To discover the nature of the world he's in, and uncover the reason behind his lost identity, he's forced to move forward and hopefully, survive.

Generally, The Other World takes place in a fantasy world with a twist of medieval setting—where magic, wizards, dragons, knights, golems and mystical creatures exist. As your journey continues, you will meet more and more characters—who are either Challengers or inhabitants that reside in this realm—that will become your friends/foes/neither. 

Adopting the nature of choices behind CYOA game, your decision will influence the story, and making a wrong move might lead to your demise. There will be:

  • Checkpoints for each chapter (to jump between )
  • Achievements system (32 in total, with hidden stories)
  • Light/Dark mode is also available for reading preferences.

There will also likely be three parts of this series in total. Currently, only first part has been published, with 10 chapters, 95k+ words in total, including the branched out stories.

Likewise, you can just play here, maybe create a shortcut. The progress is saved in your local storage, so as long as your browser's cookies/site data is not tempered with, it should not pose any problem.
